Macedon and Mt Macedon Landcare is hosting a series of five environmental film nights, to be held roughly every two months.
They will be screening the evocative film, Where the Water Starts.
This beautiful and thought-provoking film documents the quest of Aboriginal leaders, community groups, and scientists to protect the high country and the head waters of vital rivers, from feral animals and other threats.
The film explores the tensions and challenges of balancing perceptions of the Australian Identity when it clashes with the needs of the environment, and the importance of principled activism and action.
